Lessons may be scheduled in advance or day-by-day, depending on availability. Availability is not guaranteed, especially on short notice.

Sessions are structured as 50 minutes of instructional time. This allows the final 10 minutes to be used for reflection, assignment feedback, parent communication, and preparation for the next session, ensuring the highest instructional quality.

Last-minute or special cram sessions (defined as sessions requested with less than 72 hours’ notice, extended sessions, or schedule exceptions) must be prepaid in full to be confirmed on my calendar. Time is not held until payment is received.

Cancellations or schedule changes must be communicated at least 24 hours in advance.

Requests made less than 24 hours before the scheduled lesson time will be charged at the full lesson rate.

If a last-minute schedule change is requested, I will try to accommodate when possible. If I’m unable to do so, the original lesson will still be charged.

Once a lesson is canceled, the time is released and may be offered to other students. As a result, canceled sessions generally cannot be reinstated on short notice.

Lessons are billed based on the time reserved, not the time ultimately used. If a longer session is booked, the full scheduled time is charged regardless of early departure, late arrival, or partial attendance.

If a student does not join the lesson within 15 minutes of the scheduled start time and no message has been received regarding a delay, the lesson will be considered a no-show.

No-shows will be charged in full or deducted from any prepaid package or trial lesson.

If you anticipate being late, please send a quick text message as soon as possible. I’m always happy to accommodate delays when I’m able, but cannot guarantee availability beyond the scheduled time.

All cancellations or schedule changes must be sent by text message (or Whatsapp, WeChat, etc).

Changes sent by email may not be seen in time and cannot be guaranteed.

All payments are due in USD only. Wise or Zelle are preferred methods of payment, but other methods may be discussed.

Payment is due within 5 days of invoicing unless otherwise agreed in advance. Sessions may not be scheduled if there is an outstanding balance.

All packages (5-session or 10-session) must be prepaid. Any lesson held before payment will be charged at the regular hourly rate.

Late Payment - Invoices not paid within 5 days may result in suspension of future scheduling until the outstanding balance is resolved. Last minute or special cram sessions must be prepaid to be confirmed.

Student progress and exam performance depend heavily on consistent attendance and completion of assigned work. I cannot guarantee outcomes when assigned homework or preparation is not completed.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to tutoring services, invoicing, or this agreement shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. Arbitration shall take place in Nevada, USA, or remotely if required. This clause survives termination of the tutoring relationship.
